Job Purpose:

This position is responsible for a variety of duties, including the preparation of publishing agreements, serving as the receptionist and general office manager, coordinating subsidiary rights, and serving as the Press’s Human Resource liaison.

Proficient with personal computers and have a working knowledge of the following software applications: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, PeopleSoft, PeopleAdmin, and FileMaker Pro (or an equivalent database software). Experience in publishing, contracts, and human resources. Excellent verbal and written communications skills, organizational skills, and the ability to establish priorities and manage concurrent tasks are required.
