Production Coordinator (C-100114764)

The Production Editor II, under general supervision, carries out production and quality control duties in support of book publication at Texas A&M University Press. Participates in development of formats, type and materials specifications, and production procedures for all publications produced by TAMU Press.

Required Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience

Two years related experience, including one year in graphic design, six months in electronic publishing and printing, and six months in book production 


Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, communications, or journalism

Three years related experience, including one year in graphic design, one year in electronic publishing and printing, and one year in book production

Knowledge of Mac computer and Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator

Demonstrated understanding of book production and printing standards and practices.

Ability to manage and correct digital image files for print
